Well, ok, the end of a week off work – but that made a boring title!
So I have had a week off work which was much needed, it feels like I am just beginning to get the benefit of the time off and tomorrow is time to go back. I don’t suppose there is such a thing as a holiday which is long enough!
Anyway, in previous years I would have been out with my camera taking advantage of the nice weather to take some random photos of whatever caught my attention at the time. This year I did not do this. My cataracts make it incredibly hard for me to tell what is in focus and using auto focus almost seems like a “step backwards”. Maybe I need to get over that hurdle and take the camera out regardless.
I’m still waiting on an appointment to see a specialist about my eyes and hopefully from that stage it will be a brief wait for surgery. I do look forward to my vision returning to some resemblance of normal, the sooner the better!
