So I’m back at work, but you knew that, right ? So far it’s been ok, I’m not greatly fond of the commuting but it’s bearable. Naturally something evolves from being in gainful employment once more… the idea of spare cash. In time I will find myself able to indulge in my favourite thing… new gizmos!
I am still considering changing my car. There’s nothing major wrong with it but I have been driving it for 8 years… To that end I have been looking around at what is on the market just now to see if anything particularly tickles my fancy. The thing is I’m kind of fussy about my cars now. It doesn’t need to be a sports car or anything… it needs to be comfortable. I like my mondeo. Probably won’t be feasible to change until after christmas, but it does no harm to look 😉
Gadget wise.. I bought the X-box 360 already, so now the price of a ps3 is dropping. Typical! Also on my list of things to upgrade are my pc and my camera. I already decided not to change my mobile phone at the moment. There are no particularly interesting new phones out that I want and my current one works just fine. On the PC front I’m undecided what I want to do. I may just get a DX10 video card and install Vista, or I might go the whole hog and build myself a new pc. Similarly I’d like to change my laptop, tho I may just replace it’s hdd and give it some more ram… again we’ll see.
As for the camera, that’s the one I’ve given the most thought to. I’ve been wanting to change it for a few years now, heck even my mobile phone has a better resolution! What I have not yet decided is – do I get a nice pocket sized one and put up with the limited features, or do I go for a low end SLR and keep the mobile phone for quick snaps…
Meh… talk me out of it ? Or reccomend a camera ? or make other suggestions… lol…
